From Wernigerode, take the B185 towards Schierke. As you approach Schierke, turn onto Brockenstraße, where you will find Nationalparkhaus Schierke on the left. Parking is available near the visitor center, but be aware that it might incur a small fee, usually around €2 to €3 per hour.

    For those using public transportation, begin by taking a regional train to Wernigerode from nearby cities. Once you arrive at Wernigerode train station, you can catch a bus (Bus Line 251) that goes to Schierke. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Schierke stop, and from there it's a short 5-minute walk to Nationalparkhaus Schierke along Brockenstraße. Please check the local bus schedules for exact times, as they may vary, especially on weekends.
