Getting there

Car

If you are driving from the center of Harz, head southeast towards Thale. Use the B242 road, which will take you directly into Thale. As you approach Thale, follow signs for the 'Bodetal' region. Once in Thale, look for signs leading to 'La Viershöhe'. You will need to park at a designated parking area nearby, as the road to the peak may be restricted to pedestrians only.

Public Transportation

To reach La Viershöhe using public transportation, take a train or bus to Thale from major cities in the Harz region. If you are coming from Wernigerode, you can take the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway (HSB) to Thale. Once you arrive at the Thale train station, transfer to a local bus (Bus Line 20) that goes towards the Bodetal area. Get off at the stop 'Bodetal - Thale' and follow the signs to La Viershöhe, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill from the bus stop.

Walking

After parking your car or getting off the bus at 'Bodetal - Thale', you will need to walk to La Viershöhe. Follow the marked hiking trails that lead uphill. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and takes about 30-40 minutes. The path is well-maintained, but be prepared for a moderate incline. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
