I had a great time, and Faruk was a fun tour guide. I did the tour during peak season on a weekday and it was just me and Faruk, so groups tend to be quite small (only a few bookings/week). It really is a "choose your own adventure" type of tour. At one extreme, you can choose to ride an e-bike on relatively flat terrain and see some cool sights at a relaxing pace. At the other extreme, you can choose to ride a traditional mountain bike up some very challenging climbs and trail rides and really push yourself physically. Faruk is an experienced mountain biker so he can accommodate any level of skill and let me go at my own pace. I opted for a more physically challenging activity and it was exactly what I was hoping for. We did a ~570m climb through forest and gravel trails to the top of Königstuhl overlooking the city, and took mountain biking trails back down. If you opt for a more extreme route, know that the mountain bikes truly are "vintage" -- they don't have suspension, disk brakes, or space-age materials. That being said, the bikes are well-maintained, so I felt safe the whole time (although some of the downhills were a bit rough!). I wish there were more tours like this!

We found the building but would have liked more signage for where to pickup. Other than that staff was extremely helpful and the bikes in great shape and easy to use. It allowed us to zoom around the city to see everything without tiring ourselves out by walking yet still getting exercise.
