Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, start at the central square, 'Gorbys Platz'. From there, head west towards the 'Löhrstraße' shopping street. Continue straight until you reach the riverfront. Once you arrive at the river, turn left and walk along the promenade. Follow the path along the Rhine River for about 15-20 minutes until you reach 'Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer'. Deutsches Eck will be on your right, where the Moselle River meets the Rhine. Look for the large equestrian statue of Emperor William I.

  • Walking

    If you are at the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head south towards 'Gartenstraße'. Walk straight until you hit the 'Rheinpromenade'. Turn right and follow the promenade along the Rhine River. After about 20-25 minutes of walking, you will reach 'Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer'. Deutsches Eck will be on your right, marked by the prominent statue and the meeting point of the two rivers.

    From 'Koblenz Hauptbahnhof', take bus line 6 in the direction of 'Rübenach'. Get off at the 'Deutsches Eck' stop. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Once you get off, you will see the monument and the surrounding area directly in front of you.

    If you are near 'Forum Mittelrhein', exit the shopping center and head towards the Rhine River. Walk down 'Hintere Bleiche' street until you reach the riverfront. Turn left and stroll along the riverbank for about 10-15 minutes. Look for the signs directing you to 'Deutsches Eck', and you will find the monument at the junction of the Rhine and Moselle rivers.
