Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Koblenz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head southeast on B9 (Rheinstraße) towards the river. Continue walking along the river promenade for about 1.5 km until you reach the Deutsches Eck (German Corner), where the Moselle River meets the Rhine. From there, turn left and follow the riverbank. After approximately 200 meters, you will see a pedestrian bridge (Rheinbrücke) on your right. Cross the bridge to reach Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein. Once across, continue straight on Rheinstraße for about 500 meters. Turn left onto Charlottenstraße, and the Rhein-Museum will be on your right at Charlottenstraße 53A.

  • Bus

    From Koblenz Hauptbahnhof, take bus line 1 or 2 towards Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein. Get off at the 'Ehrenbreitstein' stop. After exiting the bus, walk down the hill towards the Rhine River. Continue straight until you reach Charlottenstraße. Turn right onto Charlottenstraße, and you will find the Rhein-Museum at number 53A, just a short walk down the street.

  • Cable Car

    Begin your journey at the Deutsches Eck (German Corner). Here, you can take the cable car to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Once you arrive at the top, exit the cable car and walk down the path towards the river. Follow the signs that lead to Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein. Continue straight until you reach Charlottenstraße. The Rhein-Museum will be at 53A, just a short distance from the cable car station.
