From Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 4 or 7 towards 'Leutzsch' or 'Gohlis'. Get off at the 'Augustusplatz' stop. Transfer to tram line 12 towards 'Messe' and ride for 2 stops. Get off at 'Ferdinand-Lassalle-Straße'. From there, walk straight down Ferdinand-Lassalle-Straße for about 5 minutes to reach Johannapark. A single-trip tram ticket costs €3.20.

From the city center at Marktplatz, head east towards Grimmaische Straße. Continue straight until you reach Augustusplatz. From Augustusplatz, walk towards the tram stop and catch tram line 12 towards 'Messe'. Get off at 'Ferdinand-Lassalle-Straße' and walk straight down the street for about 5 minutes to reach Johannapark.

Accessible by car from the inner city ring road or the B87. Parking is available on the surrounding streets, such as Karl-Tauchnitz-Straße. Parking is free around the clock next to Johanna Park and Clara Zetkin Park and in all adjacent side streets.
