If you are starting from Lübeck's main train station (Lübeck Hauptbahnhof), take a regional train towards Hamburg. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. You should get off at Ahrensburg station. Once you arrive at Ahrensburg station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (Lübecker Strasse). Turn right and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Ahrensburg Palace, located at Lübecker Str. 1.

From Lübeck city center, you can take bus line 6 towards Ahrensburg. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop, and it will take you directly to Ahrensburg. You should get off at the 'Ahrensburg, Rathaus' stop. From there, walk straight for about 5 minutes along Lübecker Strasse until you reach Ahrensburg Palace at Lübecker Str. 1.

Head towards the Lübeck Train Station and then follow the signs directing you to the 'Lübecker Strasse'. Continue walking straight for about 4 kilometers, which will take around 50 minutes. You will arrive directly at Ahrensburg Palace located at Lübecker Str. 1.
Bicycle
For a more active option, rent a bicycle in Lübeck. Start from the city center and head towards the Lübeck Train Station. Once there, follow the bike paths leading to Ahrensburg. The distance is about 4 kilometers, and it should take you roughly 15-20 minutes to reach Ahrensburg Palace at Lübecker Str. 1. There are bike lanes along the route for your safety.
