Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Lüneburg Heath. Head southeast on Lüneburger Straße/B209 towards Winsen. Continue on B209 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the intersection with A39. Merge onto A39 towards Hamburg. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit 30-Hamburg-Volkspark towards B4. Continue on B4 and follow the signs for Hamburg-Centrum. After about 5 kilometers, follow signs for Hamburg-Mitte and then for 20457 Hamburg. The Kehrwiedersteg viewing platform is located near the harbor area. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

Public Transportation
For public transport, you can take a regional train from Lüneburg to Hamburg. Board a train at Lüneburg Bahnhof towards Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, transfer to the S-Bahn line S3 or S31 towards Altona and get off at the Landungsbrücken stop. From Landungsbrücken, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Kehrwiedersteg viewing platform. Follow the signs to the harbor, and you will find the platform overlooking the water.
