Getting There

Car
If you are driving from central Lüneburg Heath, head southwest on Lüneburg Heath Road (Lüneburger Heide) towards the A7 Autobahn. Merge onto A7 heading north. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the exit for Hamburg-Harburg (Exit 36). Merge onto the B73, and follow signs for Hamburg-Mitte. Continue on B73 until you reach the Marco Polo Terraces in Hamburg. Note that parking may incur fees in the area.

Public Transportation
From Lüneburg Heath, take the train from Lüneburg station to Hamburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once at Hamburg Central Station, transfer to the S-Bahn line S3 or S31 towards Altona. Get off at the station 'HafenCity Universität.' From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to Marco Polo Terraces. Follow the signs towards the waterfront, and you will find the terraces located along the Elbe River.
