Walking
From Schwerin Cathedral, walk south along Domhof towards the Schlachtermarkt. The Ochsenbrunen is located in the center of the square, a short walk from the cathedral entrance. The walk is approximately 2-3 minutes and offers views of the historic buildings in the Domhof area.
Public Transport
If arriving at Schwerin Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the Marienplatz stop. From Marienplatz, walk east along Schlossstraße, then turn right onto Schlachterstraße. The Ochsenbrunen will be on your left in Schlachtermarkt. A single tram fare is approximately €2.50.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From Schwerin Hauptbahnhof, a taxi or ride-share to the Ochsenbrunen will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated cost is between €8-€12. Ask the driver to take you to Schlachtermarkt in the old town.
