If you're traveling by car, head to Treis-Karden, located off the B49 road. From the center of Treis-Karden, follow signs for the Buchsbaum-Wanderpfad. You will find a small parking area near the trailhead. Make sure to check your GPS for the exact coordinates: 50.188302, 7.306587.
Public Transportation
To reach Kompuskopf - Buchsbaum-Wanderpfad by public transport, take a train to the nearest station, which is 'Karden' on the Moselbahn line. From the Karden station, it's about a 20-minute walk to the trailhead. Exit the station and head towards the river, then turn left to follow the path along the Moselle River until you reach the signs for the Buchsbaum-Wanderpfad.

If you’re already in Treis-Karden, you can walk to the Buchsbaum-Wanderpfad from the town center. Head north on the main street, then follow the signs that direct you towards the trail. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes and offers lovely views of the surrounding area.
