From Alken's town center, the castle is a steep uphill walk of approximately 15-20 minutes. Bus line 651 stops in Alken (Kirchstraße), from where you can walk to the castle. The nearest train station is in Löf, across the Moselle River. From Löf, you can take a bus or taxi to Alken, followed by the uphill walk to the castle.
