    If you are starting from the central train station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U2 subway line towards Messestadt Ost. After four stops, get off at the station 'Sendlinger Tor'. From there, transfer to the U5 line towards Neuperlach Süd and ride for two stops before getting off at 'Marienplatz'. Once at Marienplatz, follow the signs for the exit towards 'Rindermarkt'. After exiting, walk straight for about 200 meters, passing by the historic buildings on your left. You will see Maximiliansplatz on your right. The Goethe-Denkmal is located at Maximilianspl. 2, right in the square.

    Starting from the Viktualienmarkt, head north towards the Isartorstraße. Turn left onto Isartorstraße and continue until you reach the Rindermarkt. The Goethe-Denkmal is located at Maximilianspl. 2, right in the square.
