Public Transport
To reach the Denkmal für die Opfer der NS-Gewaltherrschaft, start by making your way to the nearest U-Bahn (subway) station. If you're in the central area, the Marienplatz station is a great starting point. From Marienplatz, take the U-Bahn line U2 towards Messestadt Nord. After two stops, get off at the station called 'Thierschplatz'. Once you exit the station, head west along Thierschstraße until you reach the intersection with Widenmayerstraße. Turn right onto Widenmayerstraße, and continue straight. You will cross over the Isar river, and shortly after, you will see the square 'Platz d. Opfer des Nationalsozialismus' on your left. The memorial is located in the center of this square.

Walking
If you are already in the Altstadt-Lehel area, you can simply walk to the Denkmal für die Opfer der NS-Gewaltherrschaft. From the famous Hofbräuhaus München, walk north on Platzl towards the Giesinger Straße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Widenmayerstraße. Turn left on Widenmayerstraße and walk until you see the square 'Platz d. Opfer des Nationalsozialismus'. The memorial will be on your right in the center of the square.

If you prefer tram travel, you can take tram line 19 from the central station (Hauptbahnhof). Board the tram heading towards 'St. Emmeram'. After three stops, disembark at the 'Lehel' stop. From there, walk south on Widenmayerstraße. Keep walking straight until you reach 'Platz d. Opfer des Nationalsozialismus', where the Denkmal für die Opfer der NS-Gewaltherrschaft is located.
