Getting There

  • Tram

    If you are starting from Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take Tram Line 17 towards Amalienburgstraße. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Nymphenburg stop. From the tram stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to Nymphenburg Palace. Just walk straight ahead, and you will see the entrance to the palace grounds on your right.

    From the Sendlinger Tor subway station, take Bus Line 62 towards Moosach. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Schloß Nymphenburg'. The palace entrance is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs leading to the main entrance of Nymphenburg Palace.

  • U-Bahn (Subway)

    Starting from Marienplatz, take the U-Bahn Line U1 towards Mangfallplatz. Change at Sendlinger Tor to U2 towards Messestadt Ost. At the next stop, get off at Stiglmaierplatz and transfer to Tram Line 20 or 21 towards Romanplatz. Get off at the Nymphenburg stop. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to the palace.
