Getting There

  • Subway

    Start at any central subway station in Munich, such as Marienplatz. Take the U6 or U2 line towards Sendlinger Tor. Get off at Sendlinger Tor station. From there, walk towards the direction of Sendlinger Strasse. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Rindermarkt. Rindermarkt will be on your right.

    If you are near the central tram lines, take tram line 19 or 20 and get off at the stop called 'Rindermarkt'. This stop will drop you right at the market. Once you disembark, you will see the market area around you.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the Altstadt-Lehel area, simply walk towards Rindermarkt. For example, if you are at Marienplatz, head east along Kaufingerstraße, then turn left onto Rindermarkt. Continue walking straight until you reach the market. It's a short walk of about 5-10 minutes.
