U-Bahn
If you are near a U-Bahn station, take the U5 line towards Neuperlach Süd. Change at Sendlinger Tor to the U2 line towards Messestadt Ost. Get off at Odeonsplatz. From there, it's a 5-minute walk. Exit the station and head east on Brienner Straße. Turn right onto Residenzstraße, and the Staatliche Münzsammlung will be on your left at Residenzstraße 1.
Tram
Board any tram heading towards the main city center (e.g., Tram 16 or 17). Get off at the stop called 'Karlsplatz (Stachus)'. From there, walk straight onto Neuhauser Straße until you reach Odeonsplatz. At Odeonsplatz, turn left onto Residenzstraße and walk for about 5 minutes. The Staatliche Münzsammlung will be on your left at Residenzstraße 1.
Bus
Take any bus that heads towards the central area, such as Bus 100 or 58, and get off at the 'Karlsplatz (Stachus)' stop. Then, walk straight along Neuhauser Straße towards Odeonsplatz. Once you reach Odeonsplatz, turn left onto Residenzstraße and continue for about 5 minutes until you arrive at the Staatliche Münzsammlung located at Residenzstraße 1.
Walking
If you are already in the Altstadt-Lehel area, you can easily walk to the Staatliche Münzsammlung. From Marienplatz, head northeast on Weinstraße towards Residenzstraße, then turn right onto Residenzstraße. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will find the museum at Residenzstraße 1.
