Start your journey at any U-Bahn station in Munich. If you're near the center, you can take the U5 line from Marienplatz station. Ride towards Neuperlach Süd for 4 stops, then transfer at Sendlinger Tor to the U2 line. Continue on the U2 line towards Messestadt Ost for 5 stops. Get off at the station named 'München Lehel'. From the station, exit towards Prinzregentenstraße. Once you are on the street, continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Friedensengel, an impressive monument located beside the Isar River.
Tram
If you're closer to a tram station, you can take Tram 16 or 17 from the city center (for example, from Sendlinger Tor) towards 'Bogenhausen'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Friedensengel' stop. The monument is just a short walk away, located at the end of the street, where you can admire the beautiful architecture and surroundings.
Bus
For those near a bus stop, take Bus 100, which is a great option as it passes many famous sights in Munich. Board the bus at any convenient stop and ride towards 'München, Hauptbahnhof'. Get off at 'Prinzregentenstraße' stop. From there, walk south along Prinzregentenstraße for about 5 minutes until you reach Friedensengel, located on your right.
Walking
If you are within walking distance of the city center or nearby locations like the Englischer Garten, you can enjoy a pleasant walk to Friedensengel. Head towards the Isar River and follow the riverbank southwards. After a leisurely 20-30 minute walk along the water, you will arrive at the Friedensengel monument, where you can take in the views and relax in the surrounding park.
