U-Bahn (Subway)
To reach Hofgarten, start by locating the nearest U-Bahn station. If you are in central Munich, the Marienplatz station is a good starting point. From Marienplatz, take the U5 line towards Neuperlach Süd or the U7 line towards Mangfallplatz. Change at Odeonsplatz station. Once there, follow the signs for the exit towards Ludwigstraße. After exiting the station, turn right onto Ludwigstraße and continue walking until you reach the entrance to Hofgarten, located at Hofgartenstraße 1.
Tram
If you prefer to take a tram, head to the nearest tram stop. From the central area, you can catch Tram 19 at the stop 'Marienplatz'. Ride the tram towards 'St. Emmeram' and get off at 'Nationaltheater'. After exiting, walk east along Hofgartenstraße, and you will find Hofgarten on your left-hand side at the address Hofgartenstraße 1.
Bus
For bus travelers, you can take Bus 100 from the central bus stop at 'Hauptbahnhof'. Ride the bus towards 'Am Messestadt Riem' and get off at 'Nationalmuseum'. From there, walk north on Wilhelminstraße until you reach Hofgartenstraße. Take a left on Hofgartenstraße, and you will find Hofgarten directly ahead.
Walking
If you are in the Altstadt-Lehel area, walking to Hofgarten is a pleasant option. From the famous Marienplatz, head east towards Sendlinger Straße, then follow the street until you reach the Isartor. Cross the Isar River and continue straight until you reach Hofgartenstraße. Turn right, and Hofgarten will be on your right, marked at Hofgartenstraße 1.
