Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Nuremberg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main square (Hauptmarkt). Walk straight along Bahnhofstraße until you reach the square, where you will see the beautiful St. Lorenz Church. From Hauptmarkt, head towards the Kaiserburg (Imperial Castle) by walking north on Burgstraße. Follow the signs to the castle, which will lead you to the entrance of the castle grounds. Once inside the castle grounds, follow the path upwards that leads to the Sinwell Tower, which is located at the top of the hill within the castle complex. Enjoy the scenic views from the tower!

  • Public Transport

    If you prefer public transport, take the U2 subway line from Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof (main station) towards Röthenbach. Get off at the 'Opernhaus' station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the east along Richard-Wagner-Straße until you reach the main square (Hauptmarkt). Follow the same directions as above to the Kaiserburg (Imperial Castle) and then up to Sinwell Tower.
