Car
If you're traveling by car, start from any location in the Ore Mountains and head towards the town of Goslar. Use the A4 motorway (Autobahn 4) and follow the signs towards Goslar. Once you reach Goslar, take the exit towards B241, and follow the B241 until you see signs for Rammelsberg. The mountain is located at the coordinates 51.8833° N, 10.4333° E. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Rammelsberg via public transportation, first take a train to Goslar from various locations in the Ore Mountains. Once you arrive at Goslar train station, you can take a local bus (Bus 820) towards Rammelsberg. The bus stops near the entrance to the Rammelsberg site. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. A one-way ticket on the bus costs around €2.50.
Walking from Local Bus Stop
If you choose to arrive by bus, after disembarking, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach the Rammelsberg visitor center. Follow the signs pointing towards Rammelsberg, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be uneven.
