Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, head towards Heidelberg. From the A5 motorway, take the exit for Heidelberg/Schwetzingen (Exit 38). Follow the B37 into Heidelberg, and then follow signs for 'Heidelberger Altstadt' (Heidelberg Old Town). You can park at 'Parkhaus P12' or 'Parkhaus P9', which are both nearby. After parking, it is a short walk to the Elizabeth Gate. Exit the parking garage and head southeast on 'Plöck' road, continuing onto 'Schießgasse' until you reach the castle area. Elizabeth Gate is located near the entrance to the castle gardens.
