Public Transport
From Potsdam central station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof), take the S7 train towards Ahrensfelde. After about 30 minutes, disembark at Berlin Alexanderplatz. From there, transfer to the U-Bahn line U2 towards Pankow and get off at the station 'Hausvogteiplatz'. After exiting the station, walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom) located at Am Lustgarten, 10178 Berlin.
Bus
From Potsdam central station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof), take the bus number 605 towards Berlin, S Grunewald. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Potsdam, Glienicker Brücke' stop. From there, walk to the nearby S-Bahn station and take the S3 or S7 towards Berlin. Disembark at Berlin Friedrichstraße, then transfer to the U-Bahn line U6 towards Alt-Tegel. Get off at 'Hausvogteiplatz' and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the Berlin Cathedral at Am Lustgarten.
Walking
If you're near the center of Potsdam, you can walk to the nearest S-Bahn station, which is Potsdam Park Sanssouci. From there, take the S7 train towards Ahrensfelde and get off at Berlin Alexanderplatz. Once at Alexanderplatz, you can walk to the Berlin Cathedral, which is about a 20-minute walk straight from the square, heading towards the Spree River and then following the signs to Am Lustgarten.
Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle in Potsdam and take the direct cycle path towards Berlin. Follow the signs to the Glienicke Bridge (Glienicker Brücke), then continue straight towards Berlin. After crossing the bridge, keep cycling along the road and follow the signs to the historic center of Berlin. The Berlin Cathedral is located near the Spree River at Am Lustgarten. The cycling route takes approximately 45 minutes.
