If you are in Potsdam and want to visit the DDR Museum in Berlin, start by heading to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From there, take the S-Bahn line S7 towards Ahrensfelde or the S5 towards Strausberg Nord. Get off at the station 'Friedrichstraße' in Berlin. From Friedrichstraße, transfer to the U-Bahn line U6 towards Alt-Mariendorf, and get off at 'Stadtmitte'. Finally, from Stadtmitte, it’s a short walk to the DDR Museum located at Vera Britain Ufer, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 1. Follow signs for the museum, which is near the Spree River.
