If you're starting from Potsdam Central Station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head to the bus stop located just outside the station. Take bus number 605 towards 'Potsdam, Zentrale' and ride for 5 stops. Get off at 'Potsdam, Platz d. Einheit'. From there, walk about 200 meters northeast along Platz d. Einheit until you reach Ehemals Alte Synagoge, which will be on your left.

If you're staying in the city center, you can easily walk to Ehemals Alte Synagoge. Start at Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) and walk south down Breite Straße. Continue straight until you reach Platz d. Einheit. Turn right on Platz d. Einheit, and after a short walk, you'll see Ehemals Alte Synagoge on your left side at the address Platz d. Einheit 2-5.

From the city center, you can take Tram Line 91 from 'Potsdam, Platz der Einheit' tram stop. Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Potsdam, Nauener Tor'. From there, walk about 600 meters east along Breite Straße, which will lead you directly to Platz d. Einheit. Ehemals Alte Synagoge will be located on your right as you reach the square.
