Public Transportation
From Potsdam, make your way to the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can walk there from the city center or take local buses (lines 601, 603, or 604) that head towards the station. Once at the Hauptbahnhof, buy a ticket for a regional train (RE or S-Bahn) to Berlin. Take the S7 or RE1 train towards Berlin and get off at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (central station). From Berlin Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the exit towards Washingtonplatz. Exit the station and turn left onto Invalidenstraße. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Museum für Naturkunde at Invalidenstraße 43 on your left.
Bus and Tram
Start at Potsdam, and head to the nearest bus stop. Take bus line 605 towards Berlin, and ride it to the 'S-Bahnhof Berlin Wannsee' stop. From there, switch to the S1 or S7 train to reach Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Once you arrive at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, exit the station towards Washingtonplatz, turn left onto Invalidenstraße, and walk for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the Museum für Naturkunde located at Invalidenstraße 43.
Walking and Train
If you're up for a walk, head to the nearest tram stop in Potsdam and take tram line 91 towards 'Potsdam, S Hauptbahnhof'. From there, board a train (RE1 or S7) from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof to Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Once you arrive at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to Washingtonplatz, exit the station, and turn left onto Invalidenstraße. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you arrive at the Museum für Naturkunde located at Invalidenstraße 43.
