Take the S7 or S5 S-Bahn train towards Berlin. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Friedrichstraße station. From Friedrichstraße, transfer to the U6 subway line towards Alt-Tegel and get off at the Stadtmitte station. Follow the signs to the exit and walk towards the Gendarmenmarkt. The Neue Kirche will be located at Gendarmenmarkt 1-2, a short walk away.

    If you are already in central Potsdam, you can walk to the nearest tram stop, which is Potsdam, Platz der Einheit. From there, take tram line 91 towards U Potsdam Pirschheide. Get off at the last stop, then walk to the nearest S-Bahn station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof) to continue your journey to Berlin as described above.

    From Potsdam, you can take bus line 607 from the bus station near the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. Once you arrive at the Hauptbahnhof, purchase your train ticket to Berlin and follow the instructions for public transport above.
