From Rothenburg ob der Tauber, walk to Rothenburg ob der Tauber train station (Bahnhof Rothenburg ob der Tauber), which is about a 15-minute walk from the town center. Once at the train station, take the train towards Lauda, which runs frequently. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at Weikersheim station. From Weikersheim station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Castle and Gardens. Head northwest on Bahnhofstraße, turn left onto Weikersheimer Straße, and follow the road until you reach Marktplatz, where the castle is located at Marktpl. 11.

From Rothenburg ob der Tauber, walk to the Rothenburg bus station. Look for the bus line that heads towards Weikersheim. The bus ride typically takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Weikersheim, disembark at the main bus stop, and from there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Castle and Gardens Weikersheim. Head towards the center of Weikersheim, following signs to Marktplatz, where the castle is located at Marktpl. 11.
