Walking
If you are starting at the famous Rothenburg ob der Tauber Town Square (Marktplatz), head towards the fountain at the center of the square. From there, look for the building with the large clock tower; that’s the Town Hall (Rathaus). The Rothenburg Town History Museum in the Thirty Years’ War is located just next to the Town Hall. Walk along the side of the Town Hall until you reach the entrance of the museum, which is at Marktplatz 1.

If you are near St. Jacob's Church (Jakobskirche), exit the church and face the direction of the Town Square. Walk straight down the street that leads towards the square. Continue walking until you reach the Marktplatz. The Rothenburg Town History Museum in the Thirty Years’ War will be on your left as you approach the square, right next to the Town Hall at Marktplatz 1.

From the Rothenburg ob der Tauber bus station (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main road (Rosenstraße). Turn left onto Rosenstraße and walk straight until you reach the main entrance to the historic town. Once you're in the town center, follow signs to Marktplatz. Upon reaching the square, locate the Town Hall (Rathaus) on the left side; the Rothenburg Town History Museum in the Thirty Years’ War is right next to it at Marktplatz 1.
