If you are driving, head towards the town of Staré Křečany in the Czech Republic. From the Saxon Switzerland National Park, take the B172 road towards Bad Schandau. Continue on B172 until you reach the border crossing into the Czech Republic. Once in the Czech Republic, follow signs for Hřensko and then take the route towards Staré Křečany. The castle is located at 407 60 Staré Křečany-Výdejní místo Brtníky. Parking is available near the site, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

For visitors using public transportation, take a train from Dresden or Bad Schandau to the nearest station, which is in the town of Hřensko. From Hřensko, you can take a bus towards Staré Křečany. The walk from the bus stop to the castle is about 20 minutes, with a well-marked path leading you through scenic views.
