Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Rothenburg ob der Tauber's Market Square (Marktplatz), exit the square and head southwest onto Herrngasse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wenggasse. Turn right onto Wenggasse and follow it until you reach the end of the street. There, turn left onto Klosterstraße, which leads you to the bus station. From the bus station, take bus line 5 towards Würzburg. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Würzburg, exit the bus and head southeast towards the city center. Falkenhaus is located at Marktplatz 9, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head towards the square, and you will see the stunning Rococo facade of Falkenhaus directly in front of you.

• Public Transport

  From Rothenburg ob der Tauber, make your way to the Rothenburg ob der Tauber train station. You can walk there in about 15 minutes by heading south on Spitalgasse, then turning left onto Bahnhofstraße. At the train station, buy a ticket for the train to Würzburg. The train ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Würzburg train station, follow the signs for the city center. You can either walk, which will take about 20 minutes, or take a local bus. If you choose to walk, exit the train station and head east on Bahnhofstraße, then continue straight onto Bismarckstraße. Follow the signs towards Marktplatz. Falkenhaus is located at Marktplatz 9, and you will see it as you approach the square.
