If you're driving from Spessart to Würzburg Residence, take the A3 highway towards Würzburg. Depending on your exact starting point in Spessart, you may need to navigate local roads to reach the A3. Once on the A3, follow the signs for Würzburg. Take exit 66-Würzburg-Heidingsfeld and merge onto B19 towards Würzburg. Continue straight for about 5 km until you reach the city center. Follow signs to Residenzplatz. There is limited parking available near the residence, and you may need to pay (approximately €1.50 per hour).

You can take bus line 4 or 14 to 'Residenzplatz,' which is a short ride. The bus fare is around €2.80 for a single journey. Once you get off the bus, the Würzburg Residence will be a short walk away.
