If you're traveling by car from Spessart to Linderhof Palace, start by heading southwest on the B26. Continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the A95. Merge onto the A95 motorway towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After approximately 30 kilometers, take exit 13 for B2 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Follow B2 for 12 kilometers, and then turn left onto Linderhofstraße. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you arrive at Linderhof Palace, located at Linderhof 12, 82488 Ettal. Parking is available on-site, but there may be a fee, typically around €5.

The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Garmisch-Partenkirchen station, transfer to bus number 962, which travels directly to Linderhof Palace.
