Public Transport
From Augsburg, take the train to Langweid (Lech) Bahnhof. Several regional trains (RB87, RE16, RE80, RB89, RE89) make this journey hourly; the trip takes approximately 14 minutes and costs between €7-€10. From the Langweid (Lech) Bahnhof, the Lechmuseum is approximately a 2 kilometer walk. Alternatively, take bus line 410 from Langweid (Lech) Bahnhof to Langweid, Lechwerksiedlung. From there, it is a short walk to the museum. A single bus fare costs approximately €3-€4.
Driving
From Augsburg, take the B2 towards Donauwörth. Exit at “Langweid-Nord”. After the exit take a right in the round-about and continue parallel to the B2 until reaching the Lechwerk-Siedlung. When you reach the settlement take a left onto Lechwerkstraße, which leads directly to the power plant site. Parking is available near the museum. Parking fees are approximately €1-€2 per hour.
