Walking
Neuburg Castle is located in the heart of Neuburg an der Donau's old town and is easily accessible on foot from most central locations. From the Rathaus (Town Hall) on Karlsplatz, walk north along the Hauptstraße, then turn left onto Residenzstraße. The castle entrance will be on your right. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. Note that the castle is uphill, so expect a slight incline. There are no costs associated with walking to the castle.

If arriving by train at Neuburg (Donau) station, take bus lines 4, 410, 425, X425, or 430 to the Spitalplatz bus terminal. From there, follow the walking directions above (approximately 5-10 minutes). A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.50. Alternatively, a day pass is available for around €4.50.

From any parking location, follow signs to the Altstadt (old town) and then to the Schloss (castle).
