The path leads through a forest and involves a short, slightly steep ascent to the cave entrance. Keep an eye out for the signs, as there are other trails in the area. The cave is located approximately 1 km from the parking area. No special transport or tolls are required.

If arriving by public transport, take bus line 63 to the Herbrechtingen, Ulmer Steige stop. From there, it's approximately a 45-minute walk to the Wanderparkplatz Sallenbüchle, following the signs towards Eselsburg. From the parking lot, proceed on foot as described above.
