From the designated parking area (charges apply), Eltz Castle is accessible via a scenic, albeit moderately steep, 10-15 minute walk through the forest. Follow the marked path downhill towards the castle. Alternatively, a shuttle bus service is available from the parking area to the castle entrance for €2 per person (one way).
Driving
The final approach by car involves navigating narrow, winding roads through the Eltz Forest. Follow the signs towards Burg Eltz. Parking is available in a designated area approximately 10-15 minutes walking distance from the castle. Parking fees are €4 per car.
