If you are starting from the Würzburg Residenz, exit the Residenz and head towards the main street, Residenzplatz. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ludwigstraße. Turn left onto Ludwigstraße. Follow Ludwigstraße until you reach the intersection with Oberer Steinweg. Turn right onto Oberer Steinweg, and continue straight. You will soon see Häckerbrunnen on your left, located in the Altstadt area.

If you are starting from the Würzburg Main Train Station (Würzburg Hbf), exit the station and head east towards Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Schönbornstraße. Turn left onto Schönbornstraße and continue walking. You will come across the Old Main Bridge (Alte Mainbrücke). Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the street called Brückenkopf. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Oberer Steinweg. Turn left on Oberer Steinweg, and Häckerbrunnen will be on your right.
