    Start from the Würzburg Residenz, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Exit the Residenz and head west on Residenzplatz toward Balthasar-Neumann-Promenade. Continue along the promenade until you reach the intersection with Ludwigstraße. Turn left onto Ludwigstraße and continue straight for about 500 meters. You will pass by the Hofgarten and various shops along the way. Stay on Ludwigstraße until it becomes Karmelitenstraße. Continue walking until you reach Schwanentor, which will be on your left.
