Walking
From the Würzburg Main Train Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Bahnhofstraße. Turn right onto Bahnhofstraße and continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Bismarckstraße. Cross the street and continue straight until you reach the famous Residenz Palace. From the Residenz, head towards the entrance of the Hofgarten. Walk through the garden and head towards the Ludwigsbrücke, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Once you reach Ludwigsbrücke, you will find the Löwenstatuen (Lion Statues) situated on the bridge. Enjoy the views of the river and the beautiful architecture around the area.
Public Transport
Start at the Würzburg Main Train Station. Take tram line 1 or 3 towards Zellerau and alight at the stop named 'Röntgenring.' From the tram stop, walk straight down Röntgenring until you reach the intersection with Ludwigsbrücke. Cross the bridge, and you will find the Löwenstatuen on your right. This option takes about 15 minutes in total.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations around the city. Start from the Würzburg Main Train Station and head towards the Old Town area. Follow the bike paths along the Main River towards the Ludwigsbrücke. The ride is approximately 2 km and should take about 10 minutes. Once you reach the bridge, you will find the Löwenstatuen on the bridge itself.
