Walking
If you are starting from the Würzburg Residence, exit the palace through the main entrance and head towards the Hofgarten (Court Garden). Walk through the gardens, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Exit the gardens at the northern end and walk straight towards the Old Bridge (Alte Mainbrücke). Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Domstraße. The Wurzburg Cathedral will be on your right after about a 10-minute walk.

If you are near the Würzburg main train station (Würzburg Hauptbahnhof), you can take bus line 14 or 16. Board the bus at the bus stop outside the station and travel towards 'Dom'.
