Getting There

Walking
If you are already in Osu, the easiest way to get to the World War Monument is by walking. Start at the Osu Castle, which is a well-known landmark. From there, head northeast on Castle Road for about 200 meters until you reach the junction with 28th February Road. Turn left onto 28th February Road and continue walking straight. The World War Monument will be on your right side after approximately 500 meters. It's a recognizable structure, so you won't miss it!

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Osu. Start at the Osu Castle and head northeast on Castle Road. Then, turn left onto 28th February Road. Continue riding straight for about 500 meters, and you will find the World War Monument on your right. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.

Public Transport (Trotro)
Although you are close to the World War Monument, you can also take a trotro for a more local experience. Find a trotro station in Osu and look for those heading towards 'Circle' or 'Kolebu' as they pass near the monument. Hop on one and get off at the nearest stop to 28th February Road. From there, walk a short distance towards the road, and the monument will be visible on your right. Note that the trotro fare is usually between 2 to 5 GHS.
