If you are in the central market area of Kumasi, start by heading south towards the Kumasi Cultural Centre. From the Cultural Centre, walk towards the Oforikrom Road. Continue straight on this road until you reach the intersection with the P93P+M2Q road. Turn right onto P93P+M2Q and continue walking. After a few minutes, you will see the grand Manhyia Palace on your left. The journey should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your walking speed.

From your location in Kumasi, find the nearest trotro station. Board a trotro heading towards Tafo or Manhyia. Inform the driver you are going to Manhyia Palace. The fare is usually very affordable. The trotro will take you along the main road, and you should disembark when you see the Palace on your right. It is a prominent landmark, so it should be easy to spot. The entire trip should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic and waiting times.
