The journey should take around 40-45 minutes depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
From Sogakope, take a shared taxi or 'trotro' heading to Ho. These can be found at designated taxi stands in Sogakope. The fare is usually around 5-10 GHS per person, and the trip will take about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Ho, you can either hire a local taxi or find another shared taxi that goes to the vicinity of Avu Lagoon. Make sure to communicate the destination clearly to the driver.
