Walking
From the center of Wa, head east on the main road (N12) towards the Wa Municipal Assembly. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the crossroads near the Wa Market. At the crossroads, turn left onto the road that leads towards Sombo. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers, passing through the village of Sombo. Look for signs indicating the Gure Porcupine Sanctuary. The sanctuary entrance is located just off this road, and you may need to ask locals for further directions as you get closer.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Wa. Start from the center of Wa and cycle east along the main road (N12) towards the Wa Municipal Assembly. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn left at the crossroads near Wa Market onto the road leading to Sombo. Continue cycling for about 3 kilometers, through the village of Sombo. Keep an eye out for signage for Gure Porcupine Sanctuary, and ask local residents if you need assistance finding the entrance.

In Wa, you can easily find motorbike taxis (locally known as 'okada'). Approach any motorbike taxi driver and inform them that you want to go to Gure Porcupine Sanctuary. They will take you along the main road (N12) heading east, passing the Wa Municipal Assembly and then turning left at the crossroads near Wa Market onto the road towards Sombo. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Be sure to confirm that they know the sanctuary location, as it can be helpful to mention that it is near Sombo.
