If you are driving from any location within the Western North Region, head towards the town of Assin Fosu. From Assin Fosu, take the R82 road heading towards Cape Coast. Kakum National Park is located approximately 30 kilometers from Assin Fosu. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Kakum National Park as you approach, and make sure to stay on the R82 until you reach the park's entrance. There is a parking fee of about 5 GHS for vehicles at the park.

Public Transport (Tro-Tro)
To reach Kakum National Park by tro-tro, first make your way to the nearest tro-tro station in towns like Sefwi Wiawso or Bibiani. Look for a tro-tro heading to Assin Fosu. Once you arrive in Assin Fosu, you will need to take another tro-tro that goes towards Cape Coast. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Kakum National Park junction. From there, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you the remaining distance to the park entrance. The total fare for the tro-tro journey may cost around 10-15 GHS, depending on your starting point.
