From Wli Nature Reserve, head southwest on the main road towards Ho. Continue along this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction leading to Kumasi. Take the right turn onto the Kumasi road and continue for another 50 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary, which is located just before you enter Kumasi. There may be a small entrance fee for the sanctuary, typically around 5 GHS.

Public Transportation
To reach Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary from Wli Nature Reserve via public transport, first take a shared taxi or trotro from Wli to Ho. Once in Ho, find a trotro heading to Kumasi. The ride to Kumasi will take about 2-3 hours depending on traffic and costs around 10 GHS. Once you arrive in Kumasi, you can take a taxi to the Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary, which is about 20 minutes away and should cost you around 15 GHS.

If you are adventurous and close to Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary, you can walk from Kumasi city center to the sanctuary. It is approximately a 5-kilometer walk, which should take around 1 hour. Follow the main road signs leading out of Kumasi towards the direction of Owabi. Make sure to stay on the main road for safety.
