From the main viewpoint at Europa Point, head north towards the large white building known as the 'Europa Point Lighthouse'. As you approach the lighthouse, keep walking along the scenic path that runs along the coastline. Continue on this path until you reach a junction. Here, take a left turn and follow the signs for the Mediterranean Steps. The trail will begin to ascend with steps that are well-maintained. Keep following the signs as the trail winds up the hillside, and enjoy the stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and towards the Spanish coast.

If you are at the nearby 'The Moorish Castle', exit the castle grounds and head south towards the main road. Once you reach the road, turn left and continue straight until you reach the junction where you can see the sign for 'Mediterranean Steps'. Follow this road until you see the entrance to the steps. Begin your ascent, making sure to take breaks as needed, and enjoy the breathtaking views along the way.

If you are coming from the 'Gibraltar Nature Reserve', exit the reserve and head towards the southern part of the reserve, moving in the direction of the coastline. Keep to the well-marked paths that lead towards the Mediterranean Steps. You will eventually find yourself at the entrance of the steps where you can begin your hike up. Remember to wear appropriate footwear for a comfortable climb.
