Walking
From Casemates Square, walk south along Main Street. Turn left onto Reclamation Road, following signs for the Cable Car. Continue uphill, passing the Alameda Gardens on your left. The entrance to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, and the path to Signal Hill, will be on your right. Note that access to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve requires a ticket. Walking to the top of Signal Hill from the entrance takes approximately 1.5 to 3 hours.

Public Transport
Take bus number 2, 3, or 4 to the Cable Car station from various points in Gibraltar. From the bus stop, walk towards the Cable Car station and either walk up to Signal Hill or take the shuttle bus provided by the nature reserve. Bus fares are typically around £2 for a single journey. From the Cable Car station, it is possible to walk to the top of Signal Hill, though this involves a steep walk.

The Gibraltar Cable Car provides a direct route to the top of the Rock, near Signal Hill. The base station is located next to the Alameda Gardens. A return ticket costs approximately £19.50 for adults. From the top station, Signal Hill is a short walk away.
