    Getting There

    Walking

    From Sandy Bay, walk northwest towards Sir Herbert Miles Road. Follow Sandy Bay Road until you reach Sir Herbert Miles Road, then turn left. Continue walking for approximately 20 minutes. Black Strap Cove will be on your right at 2 Sir Herbert Miles Rd. Walking from Western Beach, head east along the beach until the end of the sand, then walk up to Sir Herbert Miles Road. Black Strap Cove is about a 10-minute walk.

    Public Transport

    From the Gibraltar city center, take a bus to the main bus terminal. Transfer to bus number 3, which heads towards the beaches. Get off at the stop closest to Sir Herbert Miles Road, then walk down Sir Herbert Miles Road for about 10 minutes. Black Strap Cove will be on your left. Bus fares are approximately £2.20 for a single journey.

    Taxi

    Taxis are readily available throughout Gibraltar, including at the airport, border, and Grand Casemates Square. A taxi from the city center to Black Strap Cove will cost approximately £10-£15. Ensure the driver knows the location at 2 Sir Herbert Miles Road.

    From the center of Gibraltar, take Main Street towards the southern end of the Rock. Follow signs for Western Beach, then look for Sir Herbert Miles Road. Black Strap Cove is located at 2 Sir Herbert Miles Rd. Parking is limited, so arrive early. Parking is available on Sir Herbert Miles Road, but can be very limited, especially during peak season. There are no parking fees.
